One of the cornerstones of what we do here at the fit dads club is teaching Dads how to be flexible in their approach, and not be all or nothing on a restrictive diet or exercise plan.However this flexibility for a lot of people needs to be earned. Sometimes you need a more rigid approach to limit decision fatigue and actually stick to something, so once those old habits are broken you can introduce flexibility without issue.Flexibility is a tool, but before flexibility you need structure, until you learn enough to make decisions on the fly that don't take as much mental effort.

Chasing quick fixes leads to a cycle of restriction, binging, and giving up. When you expect to get unrealistic results you get disappointed when they don't deliver - and quick fixes never do.
